Street collections are an excellent day to meet our supporters face to face and have a conversation about the work of the charity.

On a street collection volunteers are kindly asked to collect a tin from a central location where a member of the fundraising with provide you with:

• a collection tin
• a collection pouch including a licence to collect
• a Hospice at Home sash

You will then be asked to head out to stand at a pre-determined location in one hour slot with the tin and collect any donation that our supporters wish to donate. When the next volunteer arrives at the your location, or your hour is up, you are asked to return your tin to the central location where a member of the fundraising team will be there to thank you and safely store the tin.

We do have some clear fundraising guidelines on street collection etiquette. These will be shared, along with other admin details, via email prior to the day.
