Elf Escape

Hospice at Home would like to invite you to get involved in our exciting Festive fundraising campaign, the ‘Elf Escape’.

Our ‘Elf Escape’ will be running throughout December 2024.

All you need to do is choose a suitable day which works for you, a time and a location for your Escape and Hospice at Home will provide each child in your school with a template to create their own Elf hat and a certificate for taking part.

Children can join their magical elf for a run, obstacle course, hide and seek, capture the flag torment, musical chairs or an elf hunt in a local park. The choices are endless. The event is designed to be a fun, physical activity that the children can enjoy taking part in with their friends, but it will also give them an opportunity to learn about the work of Hospice at Home.

Each child will also be given a sponsorship form, which allows them to raise money for Hospice at Home, as well as a customised letter (by us) to parents, explaining the event (with date and time, etc). Sponsorship is not compulsory for this event, however you can be safe in the knowledge any funds raised will help your local Hospice at Home.

In addition to the sponsorship forms, each child may wish to set up an online giving page, so that parents and relatives can donate electronically. We will set up a dedicated Just Giving page for all schools taking part. You can then share this page with your families and they can donate directly to the school’s fundraising or create their own page to share with loved ones.

As well as being a fun, physical activity that the children can enjoy taking part in with their friends, it will also give them an opportunity to learn about the work of Hospice at Home.
